Fax
If you add a fax
board to your digital copier you can send faxes. You can
send A3 documents (they can be
automatically
reduced to A4 or sent as two A4's), you can send double-sided
documents and you can put books and other 3-D obects
on the glass. All things that you can't do on a regular
fax.
If
your
copier
is networked, you can send your documents from your
PC straight to fax, this is much more secure than having
a fax modem on your network.
When you receive a fax, it costs the
same as a copy; much less than the cost of receiving a
fax on an inkjet or toner
cartidge based fax machine, (not to mention thermal paper)
so you save money every time you receive a fax.
